Southern California Taiwanese Biotechnology Association (SoCal TBA) is a non-profit organization established in 2016 by a group of Taiwanese professionals in Bio-related area. We are a 501(c)(3) organization since 2017. The organization aims to promote the local biotechnology community, provide networking opportunity, and to foster connections between large firms and small start-ups.

In addition, SoCal TBA organizes symposiums, workshops, and community events that bring together students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. Through these activities, we strive to create a collaborative platform that encourages knowledge exchange, career development, and cross-regional engagement between Southern California and Taiwan.

​The organization also maintains a close relationship with sister organizations such as Boston Taiwanese Biotechnology Association (BTBA), Texas Taiwanese Biotechnology Association (TTBA), European (ETBA), Midwest (MTBA), Bay Area (BATBA) to promote interaction among professionals with bio-related specialties among these areas.
